Mighty Kind

I serve on the advisory board of Mighty Kind, an anti-bias magazine spotlighting young kids who take action for a better, kinder world. With young people around the world setting out to make a difference, Mighty Kind hopes to document a generation-wide commitment to change.

On the advisory board, I write copy, plan editorial content and help set the creative vision. I often participate in brainstorming calls, during which we plan content for the next issue. In these calls, I aim to further the magazine’s mission of inclusivity; I often identified communities that have not yet been mentioned in a story and advocated for their inclusion to add further nuance or detail to a story. Additionally, I share any insight that comes from my identity as a young girl of color, providing my perspective when needed.
